We have it from a decent source of authority that Rosey Claymore currently the Independent Future Councillor for Amington, is stepping down in May, 2 years before the end of her term. Stepping down in May at least means that the town will not be forced into extra expense for a by-election as the regular council elections will be happening then.
Assuming her best friend Cook isn’t successful in her bid to harass Amington into voting for her in October’s by-election, Roseys vacant seat will presumably be her 3rd bite of the cherry to be elected in the space of a year. Cook stood in Mays election in Glascote rather than defending her then Amington seat.
