Should it really be any surprise to you that as a liberal leftie, Sarah Edwards MP for Moseley North, whilst telling you one thing, she does the other in a place you’re not likely to be looking.

Now we don’t know whether Sarah is just confused by the whole Rwanda plan and votes against it, or as her voting record clearly states “has never rebelled against their party” it doesn’t really matter anyway as she wouldn’t dare have her own mind. She like the other Labour MPs do as they’re told, although since Sarah is spawn of the unions, she has that made up for in other ways. She’s got Labours’ best interests at heart, not Tamworth. That’s the same thing you’ll find for their drones standing for election in Tamworth, the Labour hive mind dictates what they say and do, and rather than deal with Tamworth issues, they deal with whatever Labour are pushing nationally. They simply cannot and will not think for themselves.
Back to Rwanda, the Government have been blocked at every turn on immigration thanks to Tony Blair and his human rights act kicking in (which also kept his wife Cherie well paid as a Human rights barrister). In their frustration, someone in Government got creative. Let’s immediately deport people who come over here on small boats to Rwanda. They were of course prevented from doing that in court by, you guessed it, human rights lawyers. So far as they were concerned, Rwanda wasn’t safe. Never mind whether that was actually true or not, or whether it was a considerable amount safer than where the migrants had come from didn’t matter to them. The fact is, if these flights had been allowed, then people arriving here illegally would simply not be here, and the deterrent effect when word got round would prevent illegal migrants booking their places on the boats in the first place, because why would you? This is why Labour misses the point, not to mention have more compassion for illegal immigrants than UK citizens.
When Labour get in to government it will be game over, and the idea that an immigration friendly party would close Tamworths’ asylum hotel and according to Sarah’s post Labour are the only ones who will (take that with an enormous pinch of salt), is laughable. Where will they put them since they have no plan to stop the illegal migrants coming here in the first place? Right now, they’re busy trying to score political points on the cost of the Rwanda plan, as no-one has been sent there yet, despite their parties human rights law preventing exactly that from happening. They don’t expect you to remember that though.
On the grapevine we have heard that Tamworths’ Asylum hotel is going to close at some point in the near future. Which will be absolutely nothing to do with Sarah Edwards. No-one wanted the Asylum hotel in the first place. As compassionate as people are for what migrants have gone through, they cannot disagree that we have our own needs in our country, and those people who choose to pass through safe countries to get to the UK, are not entitled to add to the burden of those needs. Quite simply they think the UK is a soft touch thanks to Labour decisions decades ago still having ramifications now. Do you really think Labour will have a change of heart if they get back in?
