Coton Lane is due to be resurfaced, this we know. It is only being resurfaced because the County Councillors Richard Kingstone holds responsible, secured the place on the list for it to be done. The works compound set up that is referenced has been set up for the resurfacing. It doesn’t take much of a leap to guess that the materials in there will also be used to fix up the rest of this road.
Councillor Kingstone though, wants you to direct your hate about Coton Lane to the Conservative County Councillors he hates and has an ongoing vendetta against. We suspect he’s still very much considering standing as County Councillor in May despite him saying he won’t. If he does, this is all staging for people to say “Oh Richard be our saviour and stand and sort it all out please!”. He’s already got people in his comments who are both clueless and moronic doing his work for him.

Now Paul Taylor there we certainly feel justified in calling a moron. Come on Paul, what the heck are you doing man, aiming your car at the potholes deliberately? If you use it every day, you’d think you’d maybe avoid them or slow down? As for Teenie Chipman, well it might surprise them to know that it is in fact Pritchard who deserves the credit for the road being sorted. Teenie by name, teenie brained by nature. It is actually Kingstone who pretends to be #standingupfortamworth when he’s #complainingonfacebook instead. The man is a disgrace to Councillors everywhere for his lies and bullying, but his followers devoted as they are don’t look beyond his rhetoric.

Talking of small brained, Paul Keightley pops up with his insightful contribution. The only thing mental here Paul is, well, you. You’d be complaining if there wasn’t a way to complain. Fact is the roads do get checked by inspectors, there’s just a lot of it and even more cars on the road than there were ‘back in the day’. As has been stated and forgotten plenty of times, the roads are crumbling at the end of their lives all at once. They can’t all be replaced at once either.
Then we have Wayne Watkins, unfortunately Wayne, road tax has never been ring fenced to just go on the roads, and the push for EV’s to be adopted has meant thousands of cars on the road not paying at all. Which we find inexplicable. It won’t be long before they do get taxed though, which should be welcomed by other drivers who pay. No doubt that will kick up a stink from those EV owners who won’t want to pay for using the roads but hate on potholes. We do shudder at the idea of pay per mile being considered by the Labour party though.
Back to Kingstone though, the man can’t stop bitching about Coton Lane even when it is literally a work in progress right now. That it hasn’t been done to his timescale shows the ego of the man in it’s true glory. As usual the point of his post is to pour scorn on the people he is likely to stand against in the County election. Even if Kingstone did win, he alone as an independent would be able to do nothing to magically fix the road problems that are happening all over the country, irrespective of who is in charge. He moans when things aren’t being done, then moans when they are.

Richard asserts “How someone hasn’t been seriously hurt, I will never know”. Given the man doesn’t have a basic understanding of how such things as pedestrian barriers work and has made similar spurious claims before in his smear campaigns, we aren’t surprised. Maybe, just maybe, it’s because you’re exaggerating their danger for a puff piece and Facebook points again Richard?
