Labour go out on the doorstep, but what do they tell you? They say they are working hard, during the election they lied through their teeth and told everyone that the Tories had left the council in a dire state and spent all the golf course money, which is of course not true. Unfortunately you can see evidence of just how much of their bollocks claims stick in the mailable minds of Tamworths’ under thinkers. This is Sarah Edwards telling everyone how great it was to be knocking doors and telling everyone about the huge waste of taxpayers money that is Marmion House reception being opened again. Sure we absolutely believe that people are going to be visiting now they know about it, just so happen to all of a sudden have problems to report? More so problems that they apparently couldn’t report at the front desk at the Assembly rooms, which is remaining open as a Council front desk despite vehement claims of it’s unsuitability by Labour. Labour make it sound like the Tories starved the town of any Council front desk when it was in fact always there and waiting and a step towards finding somewhere cheaper and more suitable than a decaying building. We await with interest the actual futures for usage of the Marmion reception desk, although do expect a fudge of those figures possibly being combined with the assembly rooms visitors and a claimed inability to separate them.
Here’s #CllrNovaArkney sharing this post to a few local Tamworth Facebook pages, further spreading the muck that permeates Facebook. Not exactly sure what qualifies Sarah Edwards as ‘brilliant’ and what benchmark was used to reach that conclusion, since she has done jack all for the town and likely never will for her entire term. We still haven’t got the police front desk she actually promised the people of Tamworth we would have back, (we’d love to see Labour waste money on that just for it to be provably not used). What does that tell you, but it’s just like Labour to hype themselves up completely unjustified and make out that they are taking on so much casework from residents. Apparently everyone has problems, amazing that isn’t it. We call bullshit and lies on this claim too.
Given that the residents they were meeting were so thrilled, and had so many issues to impart to them. Why the responses above we wonder?
Here is Andy Dyer (a Labour devotee if you check out his profile, you’ll see him telling the world how he’s voting Labour in an old profile picture) showing their ignorance or willfully choosing to misinform those in this comments section about how Upper Gungate being resurfaced is down to Sarah Edwards. Of course, it has to be doesn’t it? She said she was going to do something, she campaigned, so it follows it was her that got it sorted right? As was pointed out to him by a resident that chooses truth, it had absolutely nothing at all to do with Edwards, she played no part in it. Not only is it not in her remit, within her powers as an MP, but we know that Councillor Robert Pritchard got this work organised, as well as on Coton Lane. The fact that complete dimwits such as Dyer are spreading this is what really gets our goat here at Debunking. There is little thought that goes on here but a willingness to spread complete bollocks without proof is extremely concerning. Labour rely on these kind of people to do their bidding, and sadly many believe it.
