Thank you for your support. Let me be clear—this letter isn’t about seeking sympathy or rallying support for Debunking Tamworth.
I’m writing as a guest writer as Will-I-am Not-Wordsworth, and I don’t know who owns this site. I am grateful that it provides a space for a spectrum of opinions.
So, Debunking Tamworth was created to challenge the lies, manipulation, and abuse perpetrated by those who misuse their platforms. It exists to hold accountable those who spread misinformation and harm others. People like Brina have used large Facebook groups they acquired, not built, to mock, bully, and spread falsehoods about individuals they hold personal grudges against. All the while, they claim to advocate for mental health, ignoring the damage they cause. And they’re not alone; others, like R Brown, share distorted perspectives, unconcerned with the truth or its impact. It’s worrying that some individuals like him feel free to belittle others without consequence.
Debunking Tamworth has been around for nearly two years, and it has become a thorn in the side of those seeking to deceive. Some don’t appreciate being held accountable, especially when their actions are exposed. This resistance is extreme among local figures who should be setting an example but instead react as if they’re being wronged when their behaviour is called out.
There have been efforts to uncover the identities behind this platform, including rumours of hacking attempts aimed at intimidation. But anonymity is essential for this site to continue without fear or pressure from outside forces.
I know that some people feel threatened by the content here, claiming the site is obsessed with them or causing problems simply by holding them accountable. But the truth is, if they acted differently, they wouldn’t find themselves featured. Those who try to silence Debunking Tamworth know that it will persist. Lies and deceit that have gone unchallenged for too long must be exposed, and that’s exactly what this platform aims to do.
Thank you to all who support and contribute. I appreciate the site’s openness to a range of opinions, even when I may not fully align with its politics. For now, I’ll keep supporting Debunking Tamworth’s mission, believing it’s important to keep this space alive as long as it has a positive impact. I assure you that I will continue to fight for truth and accountability.
If you stand for truth and accountability, join in. If you prefer to stay on the sidelines, that’s your choice. But remember, silence only enables those who seek to manipulate and deceive. We must stand up for integrity, ensuring Tamworth remains a place where honesty, openness, and accountability prevail.
Cheers
