Its that time of the year again where our not so local troll Paul Brina Brindley (Failed Businessman, failed Councillor, fart in a space suit) starts talking to himself again on his various social media platforms. Spotted Tamworth as you’ll see in the screenshot above has had the seed planted with a fake ‘pp’ or ‘please post’ which are what people who use the group put when they want something posted on there. Naturally, no-one ever posts this kind of thing on there, so it falls to Brina to fake it to wind people up. We appreciate the reader who sent this screenshot in highlighting the attributes that describes Brina the best.

Once the seed is planted, it starts a chain reaction of Brina sharing his own posts on his other social media sites including Tamworth Voice and his own self promotion page.

Lets not forget dear reader that our local Labour party naively got into bed with the troll at the last elections. Surprise surprise he’s now biting them (and of course still the Tories who he first threw his dummy out at).

More word soup. PS: Councillors have never been public servants Brina!!!

The man (if you can call him that) just can’t make up his mind on who to support. No doubt his answer to ‘root and branches change’ as he doesn’t shut up about, would be to have himself head a new party. Could you imagine that happening? In the words of Private Frazer ‘We’re Doomed!’ should he ever get anywhere near elected office again. Nearer to election time, we can only imagine the troll is going to start sharing posts from Reform, the latest Nigel Farage train wreck that he’ll likely soon be ousted from. We actually don’t believe former Tory Chairman Ian Cooper who is Reform’s most prolific campaigner in Tamworth is daft enough to get involved with Brina. Despite support from the troll for best bud Councillor Richard Kingstone, you’ll note that Kingstone has completely distanced himself from the Facebook goblin. However, when it comes to getting elected, some people will happily sell their soul to the devil and deal with the consequences afterwards. Hopefully political parties in Tamworth have learned by now, trolls like Brindley don’t do loyalty, they do their own agenda. In Brindley’s case, he just likes stirring it. Although the comments section of his troll group does reveal insights into the kind of people who are trusted with a vote in Tamworth.

“Guy Fawkes was seriously misunderstood”. Ooh wow. Ms Ridley is probably on a list now, if not, she should be.

Jamie there preferring his politicians ignorant and uneducated. If you thought the country was a shit show now, let’s see what it’s like when someone who was allowed to escape from Jamie’s crab bucket runs the show.

Oh Hannah, we’d be absolutely sure the Green party would be saying “Hold my organic fair trade Rainforest Alliance certified soy milk latte!”* after seeing your comment. Jane at the top there, it’s not a General Election sadly, so you’ll have to keep that enthusiasm bottled for a few more years yet.

Tina, we love the cut of your gib, not quite sure where you got the idea that Labour in Tamworth wants us to be run by Stoke, but near enough. Again it’s concerning when people with outspoken political views don’t understand what these elections in May are. They are Staffordshire County Council elections Tina, the last ones before it doesn’t exist anymore.

Talking of not understanding, Paddy there thinking our as yet not announced County Council candidates will somehow have a vote in parliament. He is of course referring to Sarah Edwards MP who is most definitely not a County Council candidate, having voted against an inquiry into Grooming gangs. Greg, there having a cliche pop at all politically inclined people in the town stating they’re ‘all corrupt’. We can debunk that one quite easily, since politically we’re not South Sudan. Being corrupt is actually not something any of our Councillors or candidates are, and they wouldn’t find it easy to be corrupt if they tried. This myth is so boring and hasn’t been true since the last corrupt Councillors we had in Tamworth died or retired and died. This myth itself needs to die a death.

So you know it’s election season again when the troll wheels out the classic hits. Unfortunately as you can see from all the comments above, the feeling is such amongst our learned electorate that Reform stand a good chance of grabbing numerous seats at the County this year. It would be about right that since Tamworth Borough has been left with botching devolution here, that a completely inexperienced and inept party full of wannabes (and locally the reform candidates will be whichever family members they could persuade to stand to make up the numbers) will be left in charge of botching devolution at the County level. Fun times ahead ;-).
