Well that didn’t take long did it? We’ve been reliably informed that Councillor Richard Kingstone has lost the war on telegraph poles. Apparently a bunch of telegraph pole ninjas have been along and put them up all over the Riverside estate, without so much as a whimper from those pitchfork carrying residents.

This follows on from Kingstone seemingly backtracking on his stance on poles (not the Eastern European kind, they’re white enough for some Tamworth residents to be placated) by saying he’d even have one in front of his house. Whilst still coddling the residents who didn’t want them saying he was still 100% behind them. Well Kingstones going to have to get the chainsaw out, because they are erect and proud and we can’t have that can we. Anything for popularity points eh Richard? So for all his blister, it appears the king of the public rectum has failed once again. It seems a happy outcome for these particular residents on his page:

Some suggested on the Mailbag that Kingstone backtracked because of our article, aww shucks guys. We know Kingstone reads this dirty little blog, so it wouldn’t surprise us. It does seem occasionally we have a positive effect and prevent the bullshit before it is excreted out everywhere. We’d like to think it’s because we have a point and tell it as it is. Of course, we have an immense superiority complex and think that everyone loves Debunking Tamworth.
