Oh dear, where do we even start with this abomination. Thanks to the Mailbag contributor who sent us this along with the comment:

I’m sorry what! 🤣
Even more self branding.

Indeed. Only it’s worse than that. We had to hold our nose when we read “We made the decision to waive parking charges”. What a claim to make, when in fact the Labour group, who are conspicuously absent in this shameless example of even more self promotion by it’s members, made no decision of the sort. Free Christmas parking was something the Tories introduced many years ago. It has been budgeted for the loss of income by the Tories every single year including this one. Trying to claim it as a Labour decision is not only a big fat lie, it is even worse that she is trying to make out that this is her brainchild by naturally making the entire post about herself, complete with the customary cringeworthy #CllrNovaArkney.

Labours entire contribution to the budget this year so far is to rip up investment in the Town Hall and piss money away on reopening and refurbishing Marmion House. They can take absolutely zero credit for doing anything constructive this year, and by the looks of it they have started as they mean to go on.

Quite why Councillor Arkney feels the need to splash her face over something that is nothing whatsoever to do with her is one thing. Completely missing the fact that this is something the Borough Council are doing at the behest of the former Conservative administration is another. She has also almost completely distanced herself from Labour (having only a small Labour mention prefixed on her grandiose title) and ignored the rest of her party completely, presumably because she’s ashamed of how they are behaving nationally as well as locally. This is the Nova Arkney show, and she definitely wants you to know it. We’ve heard of trying to raise your profile but this is quite a surprising example of how not to do it. We’ve got some news for you Councillor Arkney, you most definitely are Labour and you most definitely aren’t going to be pulling the wool over people’s eyes by pretending otherwise as some kind of ‘neutral’ character. You’ve shown a great example here of the Labour lies that the people of Tamworth are just going to have to get used to for some years to come, after the lies that got them into power in the first place.
