We were very shocked here at Debunking to see online bigot, time waster and all round arsehole, Major Conspiracy Ron Brown identified as a troll by a member of the Facebook community. We are shocked because it wasn’t us that said it. It seems Ron is being recognised for what he is out there in the wild. Whilst sometimes rarely Ron does make a point, it’s usually a tiny one and he makes you work for it, like trying to wade through a sewer to find something you accidentally flushed.

Talking of sewers, all of this happened in Councillor Richard Kingstone’s Facebook page. Kingstone posted something about a Council consultation exercise, upset that the sessions were not at times working people could get to them. If you’ve ever seen the results of a Council consultation exercise with the public then you’d see why none of this actually matters. Generally trying to get anything sensible out of the kind of people in Tamworth who reply to these things is impossible, and Ron of course lamented that those on Facebook haven’t had the opportunity to add their dross to it.

Ron is obsessed with Facebook and spends most of his retirement on it making posts that you can see above. He also runs his own idiot factory the Tamworth Examiner where if you needed to enter a comatose state for a few hours, it’s the place to be. We do believe most of the members of his group are just there to see what he comes up with next. It’s essentially like a human zoo where you can be glad the inhabitants are generally roaming around in there and not in the real world. Ron has been known to come out from behind his computer and attend council meetings, which he finally started doing again when we pointed out that the council couldn’t see him asking questions in his group.

An exasperated Councillor Couchman who has recently been pissing off her own leadership by neutering the Labour cabinet over green bin price hikes, eventually asked Ron what exactly he wanted. Ron retorted that he’d made it perfectly clear. If only he realised people were already zoned out by the second line of any of his rants. Marilyn McNally who prior to identifying Ron as a troll, had disdain for Facebook and social media in general, whilst posting on it completely without irony, on Kingstone’s Facebook page no less.

We would absolutely love to see Councillor Couchman and Ron Brown in a room together, we actually could not call it who would come out unscathed. Couchman will no doubt get into a few scraps with people now that she is well and truly back in the fray, not least with her own colleagues. Labour ‘leader’ Carol Dean is looking ever more weak with her new extra large group and is seemingly having trouble whipping Couchman and others into shape. We wonder how long the positive spin and varnishing as displayed at the recent cabinet meeting can last, when Labour already appear to be infighting.
