Its the general election tomorrow, did you know? Do you care? We hope our readers do, because most of you (who aren’t trying your best to be offended by us) are generally enlightened enough to seek information from other places than Facebook.

Which brings us neatly on to the filthy troll who inhabits that particular digital swamp, Paul Brina Brindley. Who has been reaching a crescendo to the point where more and more of his regular followers have started to actually notice it. We think if a vet had walked past Brina this last few weeks they might have been inclined to give him a rabies shot, he must be literally foaming at the mouth. It comes to something when people are outright criticising him on his own page. Since Tamworth people along with most other parts of our green and pleasant land read Facebook for their information, this is quite something. Let’s have a look at the posts we’ve seen recently on Spotted Tamworth.

More fake ‘please posts’ from Brina using his go to phrases, especially ‘Tory bad decisions and mismanagement’. Of course he speaks for everyone too, and of course, the people of Tamworth and visitors to his page suddenly care enough to make political statements they wish the world to see. Pull the other one.

An attempt at troll humour. Apparently the Tories have lost the trust of the entire nation. OMG! What’s an exaggeration here and there. Swing voters take information in from pages like Brina’s and the media, and vote accordingly. That’s simply how parties win. Those swing voters don’t question themselves, don’t check facts, people like Brina prey on that.

Zoe Juxon there coming to the realisation that the Spotted Tamworth page might not be all it is cracked up to be. Of course, not many people actually know who is wholly behind the page, believing there to be some benign individual posting their daily diet of lost pets keys wallets and stolen jokes. There’s not many people who search for ‘who runs Spotted Tamworth’ on Google because simply most people don’t care. The fact that more people in this screenshot are starting to question the shite being shovelled by the page is encouraging, but it’s not enough. Ryan Cox can also be seen telling Spotted to ‘bore off’, but undoubtedly won’t be bothered to click and un-follow.

Promotions and endorsements for Labour on a page that charges cash money for advertising. We do hope that these are being declared on election expenses. We are told that this was pointed out to respective parties being promoted by the troll during the local elections. Whether they are doing anything about it remains to be seen. We would hope so, as Brindley may get away with a lot of things but this should be open and shut.

Then we have Brina promoting Reform as well as Labour. This isn’t just Brina suffering from multiple personalities disorder. Heck he is mentally ill, we know that. This is him knowing full well that Reform are going to nab Tory voters with their wish list of lies.

Bless the Troll, he does like to think he has some influence. He rarely gets any engagement on his political posts, and it seems the engagement he is getting now is not what he wants or perhaps expected. We expect that none of the dissenting comments are there any longer, his ego wouldn’t take it. He is so single-minded and obsessed with bringing down the Tories that he might just end up bringing down his Facebook business along with it if he carries on this way with people noticing the less than subtle political advertising.

Alas that is just a dream of ours, because for the next few years of a Labour government, Labour MP, and Labour Local council, he is going to shut up. The people on his page will forget the utter bollocks he spouted. Whilst people insist on getting their information and news from social media, we are pretty much fucked as a society aren’t we. Toodles.
