Tamworth’s Tories were seen gathered at Marmion House this evening only to reappear around half an hour later. Did they do the deed? Does the Tory group and Tamworth Borough Council have a new leader? So many questions, including if they did vote on a new leader, was it unopposed because it took so little time? We shall try and find out. We understand there are/were three candidates for the hot seat, Councillor Robert Pritchard, our favourite Councillor Andrew Cooper (Hi Andy!) and acting leader Councillor Thomas Jay.
